This is a clip of Father Joe and author Kathryn Cloward at Pacific Beat Studio recording the Father Joe Life Stories of a Hustler Priest audiobook. Father Joe introduces each of his stories, and Kathryn narrates on his behalf. The audiobook was published on Audible on July 1, 2021, days before his passing. In gratitude to his wonderful nurses, Father Joe was able to listen to the entire audiobook and was pleased that it had been published, as he had hoped it would be.

Life Stories

In the spring of 2019, Father Joe Carroll personally asked Kathryn Cloward to write his life story. Honored by the request, Kathryn dedicated the next two years in service to writing and publishing his memoir, Father Joe: Life Stories of a Hustler Priest. She also created Father Joe’s Six Golden Seeds, a children’s book and song for youth audiences.

Both books were published on Father Joe’s 80th birthday, just a few months before his passing. In the final months of his life, Father Joe was filled with joy, sharing these books with everyone he could, fulfilled in knowing the stories of his life were chronicled in a way he approved of and fully endorsed.
